The general-purpose press for an on-premise laundry — pants, jackets, pant tops and wearing apparel. A tapered buck suits garment work; the rectangular buck beside it suits flat work.
Available electrically heated, which is the version that matters if you do not have a boiler. Most hotel and long-term-care laundries do not, and that single fact rules out a large part of the pressing market for them.
An insulated head cover and nickel-plated head keep heat in the press rather than in the room. In a small back-of-house laundry with limited ventilation, that is a working-conditions decision as much as an energy one.
