A 25 lb machine is sized for small back-of-house work — salons, veterinary clinics, small B&Bs and daycares. Rigid-mount keeps the purchase price down; the floor carries the load instead of a suspension system.
At 90 G this is a low-extract machine. Linen leaves wetter, so the dryer behind it works harder and longer. That is the trade-off for the lower purchase price, and it is worth costing out over a few years of gas before you decide.
E-P Express carries 30 programmable formulas on a bright display, chosen by name rather than by code, with English and Spanish standard. Diagnostic and error messages shorten training time for new staff and cut the operator errors that cause rewash.
Milnor injects chemistry at the rear of the machine rather than at the front, diluted and flushed into the sump, so raw chemical never contacts linen or the stainless cylinder directly. Linen is the second largest cost in a laundry after labour, and this is the design detail that moves it.
Larger cylinder perforations and tall rib construction improve the interchange between goods, water and chemistry, improve rinsing, and let water escape quickly during extract. Every Milnor design model is tested for at least 1,000 consecutive hours in a high-extract, out-of-balance state.
